+NEW Performance Velvet: Debut January, 2022

Inspired by the traditional beautiful hand-cut velvets from the past, root cellar designs’ New Performance Velvet is a modern version- a durable polyester knit, soft-to-the-hand with a matte finish.  Constructed of 100% polyester it has a short pile and a rich texture, this Performance Velvet looks and feels like a high-end cotton-velvet fabric.  With a felted backing it drapes beautifully, and is stain and spill resistant offering high abrasion protection. Single-sided printed with eco-friendly, water-based ink.  It is 11.5 oz per square foot and prints 56” wide, and sold by the yard.  No yardage minimum. for Performance Velvet’s debut, we introduce it on our black and neutral geometric patterns, but all root cellar designs designs can be printed on this ground.
